Are you passionate about building an ESG environment with the opportunity to give your personal impact to grow, ensuring controlled processes, quality and timely report are delivered, and engaging Managers across GPV as stakeholders? For this we seek a strong performer who can execute these tasks in close cooperation with colleagues in Group Finance.
You will work in the Group Finance team and have close cooperation with Strategy & Sustainability, local Finance Managers and engage with colleagues from the sites in the 13 countries, where GPV operates. In GPV, employees have high influence on their specific projects and tasks, where you play a central role in:
- Implementing an ESG data platform reporting system in GPV.
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures for collecting and reporting ESG data.
- Controlling and providing input for the annual, quarterly, and monthly reports.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Be advisor and point of contact on ESG matters.
- Be a part of the implementation team to implement a GPV ESG system.
- Establishing and documenting clear roles and responsibility for each subsidiary.
- Ensuring compliance with new legislation and following up on regulatory changes.
- Consolidating ESG data and preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
In the role of ESG Controller, you will touch upon areas such as:
- EU Taxonomy and Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
- Development and execution of controls.
- contribute to training and guidance the subsidiary in the ESG reporting.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement in the ESG field.
- Auditing control and preparing internal and external reporting.
It is crucial that you take ownership, drive and participate in delivering on the topics in a constructive dialogue with stakeholders from different cultures and at all levels in the organisation. The ideal candidate has:
- 3 -5 years experiences as Controller from larger companies or from an audit firm.
- Experience with controlling or reporting & interest in ESG (prior experience working with ESG is an advantage).
- Excel at handling large volumes of data and are proficient in Excel.
- Structured person, analytical thinking, and a team player.
- Passionate for implementing systems and ensure efficient use hereof.
- Good communication skills and fluency in English, written and spoken.
- A master’s (MSc) or bachelor’s (BSc) degree in economics, business, auditing or similar.
