Lead the luxury shopping experience as a store manager in Copenhagen

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated Store Manager to lead our flagship store in the heart of Copenhagen.

This is a key role for someone who wants to create the city’s most personal and memorable luxury shopping experience and who enjoys being both hands-on with clients and supportive with their team. At Shamballa Jewels, luxury is meaningful, personal, and made with intention. We’re looking for a leader who can bring that spirit into the store every day.

THE ROLE

As Store Manager, you take full ownership of the boutique experience, from welcoming clients and building long-term relationships to developing your team and ensuring smooth daily operations.

You will work closely with our head office team (located above the store) and help translate business goals into real-life actions on the floor, always staying true to the Shamballa Jewels universe.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Lead & grow the team

  • Lead by example and create a positive, inspiring atmosphere in the store
  • Support, coach, and motivate the team through daily guidance and regular feedback
  • Follow up on individual goals and help team members develop their strengths
  • Take care of onboarding and training new colleagues
  • Help build a culture where we take pride in our work, support each other, and perform together

Create exceptional client experiences

  • Deliver a high level of personal service with warmth and confidence
  • Build strong relationships with both new and returning clients
  • Encourage thoughtful client follow-ups and a structured way of staying connected
  • Keep the client experience consistent, elevated, and true to Shamballa Jewels

Drive performance in a natural way

  • Work actively with sales goals and daily priorities
  • Understand store performance and spot opportunities to improve results
  • Turn ideas into simple action plans that motivate the team and are easy to follow
  • Keep track of important KPIs

Own the daily operations

  • Ensure the store runs smoothly day-to-day (planning, stock, routines, priorities)
  • Handle reporting and administration with attention to detail and deadlines
  • Support after-sales processes and ensure clients feel taken care of even after purchase
  • Manage store needs such as maintenance, small projects, and store expenses
  • Use tools and systems efficiently (Business Central, Microsoft Office, etc.)

Support events & brand moments

  • Event Planning: Plan, coordinate, and execute in-store events, VIP gatherings, and product launches in the true Shamballa spirit
  • Concept Development: Create event concepts that strengthen storytelling, emotional connection, and overall brand value
  • Local Market Engagement: Maintain an overview of relevant events, activities, and collaboration opportunities in Copenhagen - such as art exhibitions, design fairs, luxury boutiques, hotels, and cultural happenings - evaluate Shamballa’s potential involvement, and reach out to relevant partners
  • Partnership Building: Establish and nurture relationships with external partners to create joint activities and increase brand visibility

You are a confident leader with a strong sense of responsibility. You enjoy working independently, but you also thrive in close collaboration with a team. You bring structure where needed, and personality where it matters most. You’re calm when things get busy, curious when things change, and always focused on delivering an experience clients remember.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven leadership experience in retail (preferably luxury, jewelry, or high-end fashion)
  • A proven background in high-end luxury environments, combined with a strong understanding of client customization, is essential for success in this role
  • Strong people skills and the ability to build a healthy team culture
  • A natural talent for creating trust and relationships with clients
  • Motivated by results and able to turn numbers into actions
  • Fluent in Danish or English (spoken and written)
  • Comfortable with store operations and administrative responsibilities
  • Experience with Microsoft Office environment
  • Interested in developing both sales skills and product/creation knowledge
